What is ZOK 27?
ZOK 27 is an all-in-one clean inhibitor for gas turbines. It
- cleans and protects the engine
- inhibits corrosion
It has no adverse effect on synthetic turbine oils or other components.
ZOK 27 is a pale, straw-colored liquid. It combines corrosion inhibitors, organic solvents, non-ionic surfactants, and demineralized water.

What it is
ZOK 27 is a water-based, pH-neutral, biodegradable detergent and corrosion inhibitor used to clean and protect gas turbine compressors.
How it's used
ZOK 27 is used in the aviation, marine, power generation, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. It can be used for both online and offline washing.
Benefits
ZOK 27 can improve gas turbine engine performance by reducing fuel consumption, exhaust gas temperatures, and emissions. It can also increase power recovery and the lifespan of engine components.
Environmental impact
ZOK 27 is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. It contains non-persistent toxins and can be absorbed by sand or soil in case of spills.
Storage
ZOK 27 should be stored at room temperature between +4ºC (39.2 F) and +80 ºC (176 F) and has a shelf life of five years.
Safety
ZOK 27 produces hazardous combustion products such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Firefighters should use an air-supplied respirator, gloves, and protective goggles when fighting fires involving ZOK 27.
ZOK 27 has a maximum ash content of <0.01%, as part of the compliance with OEM specifications for compressor washing fluid. The unique corrosion inhibitor allows engines to be left ready for an instant restart, even in salty offshore conditions. Not necessary unless recommended by the engine manufacturer.
